Anthony Edwards injury for Nuggets vs Timberwolves

Denver’s Nuggets face the Minnesota Timberwolves in a rematch of their semifinal confrontation of the Western Conference 2024. The two teams have already faced once before this season, with Minnesota overcoming that game 119-116.

While fans would expect a completely healthy rematch between both teams, there is the possibility that it is not the case on Saturday night.

The Timberwolves of Minnesota have listed Anthony Edwards as questionable against Denver Nuggets due to a disease.

Edwards has been incredibly reliable for the Timberwolves this season, not missing a single game so far. His illness is a new theme that was announced recently. Through 44 games this season, Edwards has averaged 26.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 44/43/84 shots from the field. His numbers have been as shocking this season as they were last season, despite the same lack of success for the Timberwolves.

If Edwards does not play against Denver on Saturday night, it will be a great boost for Nuggets. However, with the way Nuggets have been playing lately, it is not as if they need the advantage. Denver has won 12 of his last 15 games, and is currently also on a four -game winning streak. Despite the winning streak, they remain in the third seed because Memphis is also on a five -game winning streak.
