Seriously injured motorcyclist with 4×4

A motorcyclist has suffered a serious injury in a collision with a 4×4 in Derby, according to the police.

Derbyshire police said it was called to Mansfield Road, near Rollerworld, at 11:24 GMT on Friday, where it was thought that the motorcycle involved had slid “had slipped into oil or some substance on the road” before Choc with the Vauxhall car.

A force spokesman added: “The rider of the bicycle has a quite seriously injury that does not seem to be potentially deadly.”

The road is closed with road officers who are expected to attend the scene, the force added.
