China opposes Canada, including Chinese companies in the new sanctions of Russia.

China has presented a diplomatic protest against Canada for including Chinese companies in new sanctions against Russia, his Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday.

“China has consistently opposed unilateral sanctions that lack a base in international law and are not authorized by the United Nations Security Council,” said a spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, in reference to the sanctions announced by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday.

“Canada’s sanctions against Chinese entities are completely unjustified and completely wrong,” he added.

Monday, Trudeau announced New sanctions Pointing to 76 individuals and entities that the Government says they are providing support to the military of Russia, participate in the forced transfer of Ukrainian children or support the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The prime minister also announced that Canada is sanctioning 109 ships based on their participation in the transfer of sanctioned Russian goods, including hydrocarbons, saying that income feeds the Russian war machine.
