Ray Nkonyeni residents demand better services

Disoncent employees claim that the municipality failed to honor the promises made during last month’s conversations.

The continuous dispute over employment qualification processes has led to some services to be interrupted.

Salahudin Musa, who is with the local taxpayers association, says that the uncomfortable garbage has been accumulating out of the houses from Tuesday.

“They have returned to the strike and we are back to the starting point, with the residents who defend themselves for themselves. It is not only garbage, we fear the interruption of electricity. If there is any guilt, nobody will attend it.

“Other places such as the Licensing Department: people will not get their license. There was already an order of orders due to the closure of three months.

“We just want our provision of services we pay. To worsen things, during the last four months we have received a provision of zero services.”

The municipality told NewSwatch that the agreements with the workers are still ending.
