Warriors ‘inaccurate and undisciplined’ while ‘something very wrong’ with Edinburgh defense

We asked him for his thoughts on URC’s victories in Glasgow and Edinburgh this weekend.

Here’s what some of you said about…

GLASGOW:

Chris: I definitely felt like Scarlets was about to run away at times. Credit to the young warriors who never gave up. A brilliant performance to keep the momentum going. Shout out to Mann, who I thought made an excellent impact. Five tight too, especially Richardson and Schickerling. Absolutely brilliant result. I hope Hastings is okay.

Ben: A win is a win! With so many quality players absent, this was never going to be an easy game. Some of the young people have really stepped up and I’m excited to see more of Oguntibeju! He made some mistakes but showed so much potential that he could be a very fun player. Tom Jordan also stepped up and will be missed next season.

Stuart: Very inaccurate and undisciplined display by Warriors. The set pieces did not work well. This is one of those games where there is an ugly victory, but a victory. Some youngsters were given the opportunity to play against a good but unfortunate Scarlets team.

roddie: We trust Franco. The team sheet might have seemed unusual. Four whores! But he rested some important players before our European run and still took the win.

EDINBURGH:

Organize: The first half was what we’ve been missing all season! Fluid attack, good kicks and forceful defense. Second part, exactly what we could have seen against a Benetton team that was missing 70% of the first team players. We let them get back into the game, yes the wind was a factor but this shouldn’t be happening. Congratulations on not losing it.

Martin: There is something very wrong with our defense routine. Why do we try to throw silly passes when we have to keep the ball? Additionally, when a team comes within five meters of our line, we rarely keep them away. It’s all very frustrating but it never gets better.
